About

I weave together the ancient and contemporary aspects of mythologies that we create in an attempt to make sense of our world. The meaning we attach to experiences create our beliefs.

The materials I use convey my belief in the power of natureAnima means soul in Latin, and is defined as the primal feminine in Jungian philosophy. It is tied to empathy, and sensitivity to the unconscious world. My goddesses refer to this power, that is present in both women and men.

The minimal boat forms that began my exploration into sculpture, are vessels for our journey through this life and worlds beyond.

Wings give us the freedom we seek as we fly through time. Freedom from the identities that confine us and keep us from realizing our divine oneness.

The triangle shape of the Buddha contains the peace that resides in our core being. A peace that we all seek in different ways. A quiet that is always there within, waiting for us.
